the booking process
The booking process is simple & easy to understand. Once we’ve connected and I’ve learned about you both and your day, we will work out a package that works best for you. I’ll send you a Contract to look over and sign. To secure the date I ask for a signed contract and a 40% non-refundable retainer fee.
leading up to your day
This is the time when I’ll send you follow up emails, resources and questionnaires. All these things help us to get to know each other better. Every wedding day is unique and it’s important that I learn exactly how you’d like it documented.
THE WEDDING DAY!
Now this is where the magic REALLY happens. You get to sit back and let me take the lead. Now that we know each other so well it should be an easy day. I typically arrive a little early to get settled in. Typically, the first 30 minutes I document venue details and flatlays of all your wedding details. I’ll give you a lot of verbal instruction with posing and tips. Don’t worry, you won’t be awkward in front of the camera. A typical wedding day goes as follows; getting ready, ceremony, family portraits, bride & groom portraits, reception. Once family portraits are finished after the ceremony, we’ll sneak away to take some pretty sunset photos. This is the best part beacuse you finally get some alone time with your lover! After this, its time to PARTY! The reception is always so much fun. Throughout the day, we’ll have lots of laughs and capture some fun memories. See you on the dance floor!!!
the final product
The best part of the entire process! …besides the being married part, that’s pretty freakin’ cool. I send a preview of wedding photos within two weeks. You get 35-45 photos of your day. This is to help hold you over until I edit the rest, which is 6-8 weeks after your wedding. A typical 8 hour weddings day usually has 600+ photos. Both of these are sent through an online gallery. The online gallery is accessed by your email and you can even share it with you family and friends. You can download directly from the gallery. If you’d like you can even order prints and thank you cards. The gallery will remain online for one year.

The Vacantis
Marissa is a creative genius and endless fun. My wife and I booked her for both engagement and wedding photos and they have been and still are my absolute favorite photographs ever taken of us. She's such a calming presence, encourages authenticity, and celebrates fun and goofy. If you're looking for someone who understands photography, important events, and fun, Marissa is your gal. I could not recommend her more highly. I'd give her six stars if I could!
I could not have asked for a better wedding photographer! She went above and beyond for my engagement pictures and then out did herself on our wedding pictures! She listened to what we wanted and added even more to our ideas. I highly recommend Marissa!
The Longs
Marissa and I have been friends since college, which is why I knew I wanted to work with her. She photographed our engagement and wedding (among other things ), and did a phenomenal job. As a photographer myself, I'm not great in front of the camera, but she made me feel so comfortable. Not only are the photos incredible, but the experience was even better. She is so fun to work with and has really cool ideas! I look forward to working with her in the future, and watching her grow.
